Dr Megan Coady

Dr Megan Coady
Dr. Megan Coady is the veterinarian and owner of Cherry Park Animal Hospital. Dr. Coady is a Fear-Free trained veterinarian. She began working in the veterinary field in 2011 and graduated from Iowa State University in 2015 with her Bachelor of Science (cum laude). She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.
Her areas of professional interest include ophthalmology and dermatology. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (NCVMA).
Dr. Coady grew up in rural central Illinois, where she and her family always had dogs and cats. This taught her to love caring for animals and Dr. Coady knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from the age of three. In high school, her dog needed surgery and she had her first opportunity to scrub in for a veterinary procedure. That experience inspired her and solidified her love for veterinary medicine.
After veterinary school, Dr. Coady relocated from Illinois to the Charlotte area. She shares her home with her cats, Motown & Guppy, and when she is not providing quality veterinary care to her patients, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time outdoors.

RVT & Practice Manager
Hope
Hope is a registered veterinary technician (RVT) in both North Carolina and Ohio. She has worked in veterinary medicine for over 15 years and has been an RVT since 2009. Hope has wanted to work in veterinary medicine since she was 5 years old and is passionate about internal medicine, geriatrics, and long lasting relationships with pet parents. She shares her home with her two cats, Fionna and William of Orange and her two rabbits, Anaheim and Bobby Poblano. She enjoys gardening, baking, traveling, scrapbooking, quilting, and all things Christmas!
Louise
CSR
Louise
Louise is the CSR at Cherry Park Animal Hospital. She has been in veterinary medicine for 5 ½ years. She has extensive experience in caregiving. She is passionate about and attentive to the needs of pets and their parents, treating each with patience and respect, thereby creating deep-rooted relationships with pet moms and dads. Louise is a dog nanny outside of her full-time position at Cherry Park Animal, caring for and being a devoted companion to dogs in their homes, while their parents are away. She enjoys reading, listening to music and podcasts, and writing.
